26-inch men's cruiser bike with built-in amplifier/speaker system
Classic steel frame with wide-sweep steel cruiser handlebars
Music system works with iPods, MP3 players, or CD players
Removable handlebar bag; painted front and rear fenders
Dual-density pedals and grips; coaster brakes and whitewall tires
Nothing beats moseying through a beach town on a cruiser bike, and the Huffy Karaoke AMP men's bike is no exception. However, the 26-inch Karaoke ups the ante by including a built-in amplifier/speaker system for listening to music. As a result, you can plug in your iPod, MP3 player, or CD player and cruise through town in melodic style. The Karaoke's cruiser design details include a classic steel frame with wide-sweep steel cruiser handlebars, painted front and rear fenders, and weather-resistant painted steel rims. The bike is also extremely comfortable on the road, with a large, two-color comfort spring saddle with an alloy quick-release post. The Amplified Music Player (AMP) is the real star of the show, however, storing in a removable handlebar bag for effortless transport. The music player--which includes an adjustable volume control (no headphones required)--comes with 10 free music downloads from more than three million available songs.
Other features include dual-density pedals and grips for improved handling, coaster brakes, and whitewall tires. The Karaoke AMP requires AAA batteries (not included).
This bike is great! I've had it for a while now and it's working perfectly. The only thing is though. The seat is uncomfortable so I had to buy a new seat. Besides that this bike is nice.
Great bike, but mine was missing parts
The bike looks great when assembled (once all the parts in order).
The box came 1 day later than requested, and the box was heavily damaged on arrival with large sections missing, as well as a hole straight through both sides of the box. Luckily no parts were bent or damaged. However the pedals were nowhere to be found with my shipment, so I had to go to a bicycle shop to purchase new pedals that were the correct size for an additional $20.
The bike rides smoothly, and the seat may not be a first choice for many men as it causes slight discomfort in "certain regions". If this is an issue for others, the seat is very easy to change.
Really Can't Beat It
Not a big Huffy fan, but this bike has proved my bias wrong. Pretty solid bike for the price. Nice style and ride.
